I've been a designer for about 12 years. Currently, my design work for Russell Stover and Whitman's (both companies now owned by Lindt & Sprüngli) can be found in retail stores across the US, and in nearly 70,000 wholesale accounts, located in more than 20 countries. Grocery stores, drug stores, big box stores, dollar stores, retail stores...even Air Force One! I've designed chocolate related gifts for every situation, every season, and for almost every demographic. I have a specific expertise in creating exclusive seasonal designs for the big customers including Walmart, Target, Macy's, CVS, Walgreens and QVC.
In addition to package design and photography direction, my portfolio includes: interior/exterior/event way finding graphics and signage, presentation design, campaigns including direct mail and print ads, style guides, logo design, trend research and more.
Working on the small in-house design team at Russell Stover, I've learned how to wear MANY hats. I was responsible for handling every single step of getting my designs created, from concept through completion. I've mastered the pre-press technical file setups, and I've worked directly with vendors located all over the US and China. I understand how to design for material that make the dollars work hard - and still look great on shelf. And, very importantly, I've learned to navigate the complexities of working with many different parts of the company to get a great looking product executed on time - and on budget.
